I fucking fixed a toilet the other day! Our toilet has been running quite a bit and finally it drove me to the breaking point. I diagnosed that it was a leaky flapper. I went to the local hardware store (run by an octogenarian) and purches a flapper. I then drained the toilet and properly installed a new flapper.

Other things I have done as a new homeowner:

* ripped up carpeting, tack board and carpentry nails so we could enjoy the luxury of hardwood floors.

* built a bookcase from Target.

That's about it so far.
