I've long felt I should move the IRC to a different ISP. When I first moved to a semi-dedicated account several years ago, I made the move under duress. True Porn Clerk Stories had just broke and the site was getting pummeled. The bill was going to be hundreds of dollars because of extra bandwidth and I had to find a new host fast.

I was never really satisfied with the semi-dedicated account. The site always felt a little sluggish and when things went wrong, the customer support was...

... and other stuff.

I removed the old user group for adding events to the calendar and added a new one. This new group is free to join by anyone who is a registered member. Just go to your User CP and look for the link for group memberships. Then join the group named "Calendar Contributors."

Also, I posted about our new system to quash spam on the board. Now people's first three posts are moderated.

I paid for the upgrade to add blogs to the site. Give them a whirl. I think there is a way for you to import blog entries from the journals. I'll have to test that out. And you will have to let me know if you'd like to move your journal over here.
