“Fire and Spew”, a fifteen-minute improvised digital video, will make its New York City debut on Friday, September 20th as part of the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival.
Conceived and performed by San Francisco actor Sam Shaw, “Fire and Spew” focuses on Bill Knowles, a television science reporter who braves the deep in a cramped research submarine. It is a gripping record of gradual decline, total inconvenience and soul-devouring disappointment.
One late Afternoon Only!
Friday September 20th at 4pm, absolutely free and paired with Glenn Rockowitz’s “Hacks”, which “does for stand-up what Spinal Tap did for heavy metal”. (from nyiif website)
