The Chicago Improv Festival is seeking comedic Digital Video shorts for possible inclusion in CIF's new special event, “CIF Digital Video Night”.

This new event will happen on Tuesday, April 2, at the Storefront Theatre in downtown Chicago, and will be hosted by New York based improviser/dv director Jonathan Appel.

This event starts at 7pm with a 90 minute showing of a wide variety of comedic dv shorts. At 9pm will be the world premiere of an hour-long dv tribute to Del Close.

CIF will accept dv shorts either created through improv or by improvisers. CIF will look for dv shorts in the following time categories: 2-5 minutes, 5-10 minutes and 15-30 minutes.
