So I'm getting my Harold team's performance tonight recorded onto a miniDV tape. Then I'm going to need to transfer it to VHS. is there a place in NYC where I can do this on the cheap, if I bring the blank VHS tapes? I'm going to make 2/3 copies. Like does Kinko's do this? If this question sounds naive it's because regarding this stuff I am.

It's incredibly easy to transfer the miniDV to VHS so if you can impose on whoever taped it to let you just borrow it for another 3/4 hours you can easily hook up for a 2/3 transfers. It's as easy as setting up a VCR.
Otherwise places that do it for a fee at Rafik (it's on Broadway below 14th street). I'm sure it's overpriced for doing just 3 dubs but it may be your only out.
Hope that helps.
