Hello I am an admitted neophyte in the area of camera lenses. I would like to encourage anyone who feels they may have some knowledge in this area to step out from the cybershadows and show themselves. General lens info is great but I am particularly interested in DV applications.
Question 1: How standardized are lenses? That is, will your Canon lens fit my JVC or his Sony DV cam?
Question 2: What types of lenses are commonly used? Which have you used and for what purpose? How much did they cost or rent for?
Question 3: What would your lens wishlist look like? Please explain why you would choose those lenses?
Any help would be appreciated.
