anything i make lately is intended for the web...

i used to be a big REAL VIDEO fan... but i've just been running into continuous problems with creating the files, using the player... file sizes... codecs... all sorts of garbage.

the new windows stuff i'm doing is SO MUCH SMALLER than the output i've been getting with REAL... and a much better quality... especially the audio. PLUS you don't have to mess with the real server or RAM files to make the file stream... you just link to the file.

however i wanted to stay with REAL to be neutral. windows media player is all windows... and quicktime is pretty much MAC.

but i'm going to give windows media a try and see what kinda reaction i get from my users... less than five percent of my site visitors are MAC... so windows appears to be the right decision.

my last REAL format video is here (it's the MAY clip):

the new one is in windows media format:

does anyone have any advice quality/compression wise?
